Post-production: Audio visual clip for website
Post-production: Audio-Visual clip for website
As the documentary looked at the more serious topics in Alfie's life such as anorexia, for the website I really wanted to capture a friendly and fun side of Alfie, which led me to the idea of "5 Questions with Alfie" (a much more relaxed and chatty interview).
Sound
Paying homage to Vogue's 10 things that *celebrity* has never done before, I wanted to use a jazzy and upbeat soundtrack to portray a more friendlier ambience.
The filming took place in a studio and as well as DeNoising the audio I also had to DeReverb it to get rid of the echo and make it clearer.
When overlapping the background music to the clips, I had to level the audio and make sure that Alfie's audio was still able to be heard.
Clips
I decided to use cutaways of Alfie dancing incorporating dolly shots, wide shots and close ups to provide variation.

Post-production: Audio fade in and out
Even though I still DeNoised the audio, you can still hear some white noise in the background, which is very visible when the talent stops speaking. So to reduce this, I decided to fade in/out the audio at the beginning and end so it sounded more smooth.
(Unfortunately in this video, there is no audio)
Post-production: Error and changed computers
When I was trying to edit my documentary, Premiere Pro and After Effects were extremely slow on my Windows laptop as I didn't have enough RAM and my GPU wasn't high enough, so it was impossible to edit a 4K video. I then converted it into 1080p and my laptop was still extremely slow, and the playback was lagging, so I decided to buy a Macbook Pro and upgrade.
